About Us

We’re Sarah and Peter Coppola, and we are Let the Good In.

We believe in mindfulness. We love delicious food. We think travel is important — and so is having roots. We believe in the power of the body, mind and spirit to do incredible things. We look for the good in all people, things and experiences. We believe in living life consciously with gratitude, love and appreciation.

Happiness, contentment, adventure, passion — these things all mean something different to each of us. They key is defining and honoring what they mean to and for you (and why) as well as others, being open to these definitions evolving as we grow.

A large factor impacting our capacity to do this is self-reflection and self-care. These are “self”-starting habits that aren’t selfish — they help you be the best you and bring out your best self, from the inside out, so you can do good not only for yourself but others around you.

Whether your health and well-being is suffering, or you simply are looking to refresh or regain better balance in some aspect of your life, we are here to help support you. With an integrated approach including specialized manual therapy, yoga, nutrition + wellness coaching and much more, we offer something for everyone on your journey to optimal wellness.

Thank you for visiting us here — we hope to connect soon!

Sarah L. Coppola

// HEALTH CARE COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST, CONTENT DEVELOPER + Public Relations Consultant//

// Certified Integrative Health Coach + Registered Yoga Teacher//

In both my professional and personal life, I am strongly driven by my passion for nutrition, health and wellness, and helping others. I started my career in book publishing before shifting to public relations, and work as a health communications specialist, writer and nutrition + wellness consultant.

As the founder and principal of LTGI Communications, I have more than fifteen years of extensive experience delivering successful content and strategy for: leading pharmaceutical, nutrition, wellness, food and beverage companies; hospitals; academic health institutes; and a variety of healthcare and wellness professionals. As a freelance writer, my articles have appeared in several health/wellness, culinary and travel websites and magazines.

Outside of my work in communications, you’ll likely find me experimenting in the kitchen, traveling, brewing a pot of tea or whisking up a matcha or herbal latte, practicing yoga, spending time outdoors, reading and researching, connecting with family and friends. (And, above all, being a mom!)

I am what I consider a “forever student” of nutrition and health, having studied these areas and their intersection for more than fifteen years (and counting). I earned certification as a holistic and integrative health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and work with individuals, small groups and corporate entities to develop a plan for and help guide the implementation of a healthier lifestyle. Both in-person and distance programs are available and developed/tailored on an individual basis.

I’ve been fascinated with cooking and baking since I was a kid, and over the years have honed my home-cooking skills by a combination of lots of practice and continuing education. I specialize in, but am not limited to, working with predominantly plant-based foods. I love to approach recipe development creatively, drawing inspiration from farmers markets, restaurants, cookbooks, magazines. I enjoy “healthifying” different dishes while maintaining or enhancing deliciousness. I also draw on my extensive nutrition and health knowledge to create food and drink recipes and menus that are healing and health-supportive.

I can style food to look nice, but I don’t consider myself to be a “food stylist”. My primary focus is real food that both tastes and feels good, and can be replicated with relative simplicity by anyone else in their home kitchen.

Yoga allows us to tap into the power of our mind-body-spirit like little else can. As a Yoga Alliance-registered yoga instructor (RYT 200), I teach private and semi-private lessons as well as offer corporate instruction, with a focus on strength, restoration and mind-body balance.

Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Barral Institute Diplomate (Bi-D), BI Visceral Manipulation + Neuromeningeal Manipulation Instructor, Registered Yoga Teacher

I began my professional career in the Public Education arena in New York State and in Arizona, providing PT to developmentally delayed and disabled children and adults. Additionally, working in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Care, and Hospital Rehabilitation units that served Post Surgical and Traumatic Brain Injury clients allowed me to gain invaluable “hands on” experience with a wide variety of patients.

Early in my manual training, I realized the value of Osteopathic approach and manual techniques toward helping my clients achieve goals previously not attainable. This sparked my drive to study and improve my manual skills.

As my passion for this work grew, I started my private practice and today work with my wife at Let the Good In, now based in southern Connecticut. This has allowed me to seek more opportunities to develop as a therapist, and deliver a synthesis of osteopathic manual therapy and traditional physical therapy techniques and to meet a wider variety of client needs.

At Let the Good In we truly believe in a “whole body approach” in all phases of practice. My manual therapy targets the body’s natural self corrective mechanisms, and encourage my clients to take an active role in supporting their general well being.

Sports have been a large part of my life including competing in Swimming, Baseball, and Volleyball since an early age. I achieved All American status as a swimmer and have worked with all levels of coaching swimming and stroke mechanics. I have successfully helped athletes in triathlons, volleyball, baseball, golf, and running, not only return to their sport but improve their efficiency and technique allowing them to perform at a higher level than before their injury. My wife and I also incorporate Yoga practice into our clients’ wellness programs. My passion for technique mechanics in all sports will benefit all athletes.

As an instructor for the Barral Institute I have enjoyed traveling to and working with students not only in North America, but in countries throughout Europe and South America as well as New Zealand and South Korea.
